Glen Tilley was elected to the office of State Judge Advocate at the 2022 Veterans of Foreign Wars Department of Florida Convention. He was State Commander, Veterans of Foreign Wars Department of Florida in June of 2020 in Orlando, Florida. Glen joined the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Mount Vernon, Washington, Russell Sheriff Post 933 in 1970 and is a Gold Legacy Life Member of Wesconnett Post 7909. He has been All-State and All-American Commander of VFW Post 2391. Glen was the Post 2391 Commander for 5 years and also served in many of the chairs for that post. Glen has served as the State Director of Membership 2012 - 2018. Glen has also served in District chairs. Glen was awarded Special Aide de Camp in 2011 by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Commander-in-Chief for service to veterans and community above and beyond the call of duty. He has been the National Deputy Chief of Staff, National Aide de Camp, National Recruiter Century and Elite Awards.

 

Glen is a Vietnam Veteran and has served in the US Army for 5 years and in the US Navy for 20. He has served 10 years enlisted and 15 years as a commissioned officer. He graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics (Numerical Analysis) with a minor in Business Administration. While in the Navy, he attended the Navy Postgraduate School and received his Masters of Science Degree in Computer Science.
